Triple S wrap up

With the SSS contest ending and the final riders taking off, i thought it would be a good time to wrap up the week.  What can i say, lots of riding, partying, and more riding.  The week saw 24 of the worlds best riders and a few more charging the slicks, sliders, and surf here in Cape Hatteras.  I cant even begin to explain all the crazy riding i saw, Im sure in the comming weeks the world will see all the media captured during the event.

The last days of the Triple-S saw once again all three diciplines tackeled.  We set up the slider park as a mirror image from the previous day.  The kicker and flat bar were regular, while the JWCF a frame, and funbox were switch.  It gave all the riders a chance to show what they could do on their opposite sides.  As luck would have it all the riders we able to get good, if not better hits than the previous days.  I really enjoyed watching and riding with Petter Johnsen,  his hits were smooth and technical it really helped push me to ride harder.  I was once again riding my 138 Influence and HIFI's. The board is so smooth on the rails and even better on flat water.   After a long day of riding all the riders were wiped out and we all rested up for the next day.

We awoke to nuking SW winds.  The moring saw all the riders in the water for a last day frestyle session.  Man it was cranking, i was on a 9m HiFI about as lit as i could be.  We then switched to the surf side and went to Ramp 27.  With side-off shore wind and a nice chest high swell, the lips were being ripped apart.  Standouts were Morris and his backside attack.  Denver was also ripping on the new LF Rawson.  It was a great way to end the contest, smiles all around.

We ended back at Real for a BBQ and awards cermony.  The awards went off with out a hitch.  I even managed to sang some spots for LF.  Petter took best wipeout for his faceplant. Sleazy-J won the Slick Style Attitude Award hands down.  I cant imagine another person being able to coordinate the whole event and still ride and party with all the others.  A huge thanks goes out to him and REAL Watersports for throwing the sickest contest of the year.

Well thats all for now and keep posted for our trip out to the Gorge.  We will update the site as we go....so stay tuned.
