For those who do not know Triple S stands for Surf, Slicks, & Sliders. 24 of the worlds best kiteboarders will compete for the next week in the three disciplines while pushing both each other and the sport of kiteboarding as a whole.
The LF team is representing with 6 riders in the event this year.
Mauricio Abreu and Denver Coon made the trek from Maui, Joby Cook came out from the Gorge, one of the newest additions to the LF family Petter Johnsen (a 2009 Triple S Wild Card Winner) flew all the way from Norway, to join Brandon Scheid, and me at REAL Watersports on Cape Hatteras, Nc from May 30th to June 5th for a week of "freeriding competition" and progression.
Registration is today from 1 to 4 pm and the riding starts officially at 5:30pm.
